Our golf course opened in 1965. The club hosted a PGA tour event in 1969 it was called the Michigan Golf Classic won by Larry Ziegler which was his first PGA tournament win. The golf course does not demand great length to play it, but it does demand a player to shape shots and deft putting. The greens are large and undulating and always have tremendous speed. The layout also offers some very open holes on the front nine and tree lined fairways on the back nine, almost like playing two different golf courses. If you’re looking for a challenge this is the course you must play.
